As of 10 August 2026, the Ras Al Khaimah casino within Wynn Al Marjan Island had not opened to the public. The property is on Al Marjan Island; Wynn's most recent guidance sets guest opening for September 2027.
Use the dated entries below to distinguish work already completed from plans still ahead. Wynn may revise schedules or operating information, so each time-sensitive item is tied to its latest available official reference.
| Item | Confirmed status | Reference date |
|---|---|---|
| Resort status | Construction continues; visitors are not admitted | 10 August 2026 |
| Opening date | September 2027 | Wynn results, 4 August 2026 |
| Licence | GCGRA names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan | Latest GCGRA register |
| Tower | 70 floors; planned final elevation is 352 metres above sea level | Current resort website |
| Accommodation inventory | Structural work finished on all 1,530 units | 2 February 2026 |
| Gaming area | 225,000 sq ft, about 20,900 sqm | Wynn 2025 annual filing, March 2026 |
The construction site is not yet a place to stay, dine or enter the gaming floor. Wynn's email updates form only collects interest; it cannot secure a room or provide admission.
Developers call Wynn Al Marjan Island the UAE's first integrated resort, and it is Wynn's first project of this kind across the Middle East and North Africa. Its planned components include a hotel and licensed gaming venue alongside restaurants, shops, entertainment, a spa, beach, marina and event space.
Facing the Arabian Gulf, the site spans more than 60 hectares on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. The joint venture brings together entities linked with Wynn Resorts, Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding. The GCGRA register identifies Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC as the licensed entity.
A large share of the announced plans relates to stays, food, the waterfront, shows and events, rather than gaming alone. That breadth is why the project is described as an integrated resort; Wynn has yet to disclose the casino's specific game selection.
Wynn's second-quarter results, released 4 August 2026, name September 2027 as the month guests are expected to arrive. This replaces earlier references that gave only 2027, its first quarter, or spring.
The earlier investor timetable pointed to the first quarter of 2027. In May 2026 Wynn flagged a modest slip without giving a revised month; the August update then set September 2027 as its present guidance.
A Wynn earnings release is a more direct source than a travel listing, yet September remains a projection while finishing work continues. Before committing to non-refundable travel, check the resort's official site and the company's investor news for changes.
Read these events in date order: the project advanced from an initial island proposal to a licensed facility now under construction, with September 2027 as the stated guest opening. Older schedule references should be read in that context.
| Date | Milestone | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 25 January 2022 | Partners unveiled an Al Marjan Island project | Initial scope and a preliminary schedule were introduced |
| 4 October 2024 | Wynn reported receiving a commercial gaming facility operator licence | The UAE's first licence for such a facility was issued |
| 25 November 2025 | A ceremony marked the hotel tower's 70-floor top-out | The main tower reached a prominent building milestone |
| December 2025 | Later Wynn updates recorded completion of structural concrete | Work advanced to the crown, facade and interiors |
| 2 February 2026 | Facade was 83%; all accommodation units were structurally complete; Wynn Bridge was 48% | Latest release with detailed construction percentages |
| 11 March 2026 | Building work restarted after a brief suspension | A progress notice, not an opening or cancellation announcement |
| 29 June 2026 | Wynn revealed an original theatre show with Punchdrunk | A named production joined the planned launch entertainment |
| 15 July 2026 | Investor slides showed substantial interior work underway | The latest visual update depicted active fit-out |
| 4 August 2026 | Wynn set September 2027 for guest opening | Current official target for travel planning |
Wynn's project story dates the 70-floor tower ceremony to 25 November 2025. Company updates later place structural concrete completion in December 2025. The table retains both dates because they describe separate events.
In its 2 February 2026 update, Wynn reported concrete structure completed to the level 71 roof. Crews had installed 21,852 of 26,471 facade panels, or 83%. The guest website calls the building a 70-floor tower; both descriptions are retained as published, without inferring a new floor count. Interim height figures vary across Wynn releases, while the stated finished target remains 352 metres above sea level once the spire is fitted.
Lift and escalator work was advancing, alongside mechanical, electrical and finishing tasks across guest areas. Concrete and structural steel on the low-rise buildings had reached 99% combined completion. That figure measures construction progress, not readiness to receive visitors.
Wynn Bridge, a planned 548-metre link, will connect via Wynn Boulevard with E311 and E611. On 2 February 2026 it stood at 48%: piling was complete and nine of ten column pile caps had been placed. Wynn's target at that point was completion in late 2026.
The August results described rapid construction progress, and Wynn's second-quarter presentation showed extensive interior activity on 15 July 2026. Those materials did not provide updated facade or bridge percentages. The dated February measurements therefore remain the latest published figures for those items.
The 2025 annual report Wynn filed in March 2026 gives the gaming space as 225,000 sq ft, equivalent to roughly 20,900 sqm. This is the latest direct company figure, so it is the primary measurement here.
Older news stories and property pages often give an approximate 18,500 sqm. Wynn has not explained whether this refers to a distinct area or why it differs from the annual filing. It is therefore presented as an earlier estimate, not combined with the newer figure.
| Measure | Figure used | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Gaming space | 225,000 sq ft, approximately 20,900 sqm | Company's latest annual-report measurement |
| Earlier online measurement | Approximately 18,500 sqm | Older estimate, not the primary current figure |
| Overall development | Over 60 hectares | Includes the full resort property |
| Guest website tower description | 70 floors | Published description for visitors |
| February structure measurement | 299 metres to the level 71 roof | Construction-stage height, not the finished elevation |
| Target height including spire | 352 metres above sea level | Planned completed height listed by the resort |
A floor-area figure says nothing about table or slot counts, the selection of games, or how public and private areas may be divided. Wynn had released none of those specifics by 10 August 2026; a precise list would need a later statement from the operator.
According to Wynn's February construction report, structural work was complete across its 1,530-unit accommodation inventory, while interior finishing continued. The categories below add up to that total, including apartments, townhomes and estates.
| Category | Number | Published description |
|---|---|---|
| Resort rooms | 1,217 | Main Resort Tower rooms and suites |
| Enclave suites | 297 | Upper-floor hotel-within-a-hotel suites |
| Royal Apartments | 2 | A pair of apartments at the tower's top |
| Garden Townhomes | 4 | Separate homes set in the resort gardens |
| Marina Estates | 10 | Homes next to the marina |
| Total | 1,530 | Current announced guest inventory |
Enclave occupies upper levels as a hotel within the larger hotel, with dedicated arrival space, entrance and elevators. It is designed around suites and distinct service. Wynn has not yet shared rates, packages or a date for reservations.
Some older Wynn announcements gave 1,542 rooms, a number that remains on competitor sites. The February 2026 building update and current resort information list each accommodation category and total 1,530, which is the figure used in this guide.
Wynn's resort site describes 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, as well as a beach club open during the day. Announced names include Alain Ducasse's French-American steakhouse and a second Delilah supper club. Reservations at the restaurants had not opened by this update.
Wynn announced on 29 June 2026 that an original work by Punchdrunk will launch alongside the resort. The planned experience offers a seated upstairs performance or a moving, immersive route through downstairs and backstage spaces. Wynn has not set ticket prices or performance dates.
A naturally lit retail parterre is planned for luxury labels, though no complete tenant list is available. Art is intended for guest rooms and shared areas. Named highlights include Jeff Koons' 11-metre Tulips, alongside historical and contemporary pieces by artists from the region and elsewhere.
The design sets aside 420 metres of private white-sand shore and a deep-water marina intended for large yachts. Plans also include a beach club for daytime use. Wynn has not explained whether day visitors may enter or whether passes will be sold.
The resort lists 12 pools, cabanas and landscaped grounds, plus a five-star spa, salon and gym. No treatment rates, pool access terms or operating hours are available yet, making it too early to estimate those costs.
Wynn's amenities include a children's club and outdoor activities, indicating a family offer beyond gaming. The company has not specified eligible ages, charges or supervision policies. Families should confirm the rules before making childcare arrangements.
Coral Court serves as the planned event and celebration hub across 7,708 sqm. Its design includes six rooms that can be reconfigured, separate bride and groom salons, and private prayer rooms for women and men.
Without internal columns, the 2,633 sqm Grand Ballroom looks out over the marina. Area alone cannot tell planners how many people fit: tables, staging, aisles and technical equipment all affect usable capacity.
As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had not issued package details, prices or minimum spend requirements. When enquiries open, ask for capacity layouts and a written quote that covers catering, technical production, access and cancellation terms.
Wynn Al Marjan is in Ras Al Khaimah on Al Marjan Island. Its website puts Ras Al Khaimah International Airport around 15 minutes away by road. A Wynn financing announcement from 2025 estimated a journey of roughly 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport.
| Starting point or route | Official information | Planning decision |
|---|---|---|
| Ras Al Khaimah International Airport | Resort site estimates a 15-minute drive | Check conditions on the day you arrive |
| Dubai International Airport | Wynn's 2025 release estimates 50 minutes; resort is under 50 miles away | Allow extra time for traffic and baggage |
| Wynn Bridge | Planned route via Wynn Boulevard towards E311 and E611 | Late 2026 target; verify that it has opened |
| Resort shuttle | Schedule and price have not been announced | Arrange another option unless Wynn confirms service |
| Parking and valet | Operating arrangements remain unpublished | Look for arrival guidance when bookings begin |
The 548-metre Wynn Bridge should provide a more direct connection from the property to surrounding roads. Wynn's latest detailed account still described building work, so check for a completion notice or a confirmed route before relying on it.
The hotel, marina and event venue could have different drop-off points, so verify your destination with Wynn once reservations are available. Keep spare time in the itinerary and only pay for transport documented in your booking.
Under land-based gaming facilities, the GCGRA register names Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn said on 4 October 2024 that this project company had received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
The register connects the named business with a licence for this land-based site. A separate entry identifies The Game LLC as the UAE Lottery operator, placing lottery products in another licence category. Once open, Wynn Al Marjan is expected to be the Gulf Cooperation Council's first licensed casino. For the wider rules, see our UAE gambling laws guide.
Ahead of opening, Wynn is expected to publish gaming-floor rules covering age, identification, entry, safer play and complaints. Until the property issues its own conditions, policies from other Wynn venues should not be assumed to apply.
Plans can change as opening approaches. The snapshot below separates published facts from unanswered questions, helping distinguish an update registration, an artist's rendering or a third-party offer from a confirmed service or reservation.
| Detail | Status on 10 August 2026 | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Room reservations and rates | No booking launch date or prices announced | Watch Wynn's official updates and booking site |
| Dining reservations | Wynn's restaurant booking page was not open | Avoid paying an outside seller without verification |
| Games at the casino | Table, machine and game counts unavailable | Wait for details from the operator |
| Wager ranges | Minimum and maximum amounts not released | Do not rely on Wynn Las Vegas figures |
| Age checks, ID and entry fees | Property's final terms were not available | Review Wynn and GCGRA guidance before travel |
| Attire and daily hours | No guest rules published | Consult the visitor information when released |
| Transport, parking and valet | Service schedules and prices unavailable | Seek confirmation as part of the stay booking |
| Show admission | Interest form available; dates and prices outstanding | An expression of interest does not grant entry |
Visitors can leave an email address and select interests on Wynn's website to receive updates. This does not hold a room, meal or theatre place, establish a rate, or give priority unless a separate confirmation says so.
For project information, compare Wynn's site with the GCGRA licensee list and its latest investor statement. A fact missing from those sources is still unannounced; another Wynn property's rules cannot fill that gap.
This guide is intended for adults aged 18 or older. GCGRA advertising standards classify people below 21 as underage for commercial gaming, except lottery. Wynn had not issued final gaming-floor ID and entry conditions at the time of this update. Confirm the rules first, and remember that hotel access may not cover every part of the resort.
For example only, imagine allocating 800 United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED) to a future day's entertainment. Reserve AED 500 for transport, meals and unexpected costs, then cap gaming spend at AED 300. These amounts illustrate budgeting and are not Wynn prices.
Before entering the gaming area, choose a spending ceiling and a departure time. Leave other cards and money outside the plan. If either limit is met, end the session instead of using contingency funds or chasing a loss.

The responses below reflect official material available as of 10 August 2026. As booking approaches, check the schedule and entry conditions again for any updates.
No. The resort is being built. Wynn's 4 August 2026 update gives September 2027 as its planned month for welcoming guests.
September 2027 is Wynn's latest target. The company set out that month in its results published on 4 August 2026, updating previous first-quarter and spring 2027 guidance.
It is on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, rather than Dubai. Wynn estimates a drive of around 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
Wynn's newest annual filing reports 225,000 sq ft, or roughly 20,900 sqm. Older project articles cite about 18,500 sqm; this guide uses the later figure reported by the company.
Wynn lists 1,530 units: 1,217 Resort rooms, 297 Enclave suites, two Royal Apartments, four Garden Townhomes and 10 Marina Estates.
The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) licensed Island 3 AMI FZ-LLC, trading as Wynn Al Marjan. Wynn announced on 4 October 2024 that it had received the UAE's first commercial gaming facility operator licence.
As of 10 August 2026, Wynn had not announced when hotel reservations would begin, and restaurant bookings were still closed on its dining page. An email signup does not reserve a table or room, set a price or confer priority.
No table-game selection, slot total or betting range had been published by 10 August 2026. Check for Wynn's own gaming and admission information instead of assuming another Wynn property has the same offer.
The resort estimates about 15 minutes by car from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Wynn previously put Dubai International Airport at roughly 50 minutes. Traffic affects both estimates, and the February 2026 update still described Wynn Bridge as under construction.
GCGRA advertising standards treat people younger than 21 as underage for commercial gaming, excluding lottery. By 10 August 2026, Wynn had not released its final ID checks or gaming-floor entry policy. Review Wynn and GCGRA information before travelling.
